don't fight your instincts

So I haven't been writing much because I have surprisingly had a busy week. I do still have pictures to add however of whatever sparked some inspiration in me this week. They are all of random things, but some of them are pretty neat and original! (I hope). I really do take my Nikon everywhere as you can probably tell by now, but this really proves it. You never want to be caught empty handed if something neat catches your eye! Hope you'll like them!

I was sitting in my car waiting for my friend to get home and was bored.
Why not snap some shots?
This is pretty neat how everythings glowing (as it should lol)

Here is one of my prized possessions right now, my purse.
The shadows add a lot of depth to the photo, making the colours stand out more!

I found this guy all by himself at the dollar store and couldn't leave him alone!
He is so cute lol so I put him in my car :)
Doesn't he look happy now?

No integra's were harmed in the making of this photo.

This 'hole in the wall' leads into our downtown area.
It looks like a whole other different area on the other side.
The door is wide open and the path is clear!

Here's the 'tegra at a much happier time lol
with his proud owner behind the wheel.

Here's our new advertisement!

She looks so innocent here!
It is such a cute picture

Look at her little hands holding the cracker!
This is so adorable, but also interesting at the same time.

Keep on snappin'!

caught in the act

I'm done schooooollll for a week and a half now! I'm so excited!! Look at all the free time I'm going to have now to go out with my Nikon! :)
The other day we had family over for my aunt's birthday and we had a little table of nibblies to keep everyone satisfied. Well, all the animals went crazy and luckily I had my Nikon in my hand the whole time. These pictures are hilarious which is why I'm sharing them with you!

Here is the cat trying to get a plate

Here is the cat trying to snatch a piece of ham

This is just hilarious so I thought I would put it up lmao

The cat trying to sneak in from behind

lmao she's so hungry she gave up trying to be sneaky!

This is hilarious lmao she has so many wrinkles!
She is such a goof!

Peace out my brothers!

random is good

So I was going through my camera and found some random shots that I thought I would share with you for something to do. There's random animals, objects, and landscape. Because they are random shots you might think they may not have the same amount of impact as the rest of my blogs. But scroll down and see for yourself.

I was able to creep up close enough to this goose to snap this photo.
I never knew how tame these animals were until I began to snap photo after photo of them.
Eventually they began all walking and swimming towards me hoping I had some food to share.

I had lots of fun photographing different geese.
This is the same goose as before.
I guess I was getting a little to up close and personal for him.

This is Andrew's pup, Memphis.
Everyone thinks german shepherd's are vicious dogs, but he proves you wrong.
He is the most gentle dog I know and still acts like a pup even though he is almost 3 years old.
Here he is waiting for his mama to come home after work in the snow.

Here is my proof of Memphis' playful attitude.
He was rolling around the floor playing with his rope when I snapped this shot.
He's such a cutie :)
It looks like he enjoys being in the spotlight of the camera!

I love taking photos in mirrors.
I was sitting in the passenger seat of my truck on Christmas day.
My favourite part of this picture is the sky, looks like we're in for a big storm!

Here I am still in the truck.
It's weird to think about how blank this photo looks,
but in all seriousness there is a life saving device photographed here!

This was right after I opened my camera on Christmas morning.
Thank you dad for charging the battery over night! :)
Daizee Mae looks so innocent here in the sunlight, I love it!

This picture seems very dull, but I love it for some reason.
The dull lighting and background bring out the bright colours of the tooth brushes.
Mine's the orange one :)

Take 'er easy!

furballs

I'm finally starting to fight off this illness that struck me last week, but I still don't have time to go on any interesting photography adventures. First of all, it is pushing -30 degrees outside. I don't know about you, but that is not really my kind of photography adventuring weather! We're coming to the end of the semester and exams are starting next Tuesday. All assignments are due this week along with all the final unit tests. I have 2 jobs and of course my boss picks this week to pile extra shifts on my shoulders. There's no more time left for me! Life sucks when you're eighteen.
So since I can't find any time to get out on the town, I decided to stay in the comfort of my own home and snap some photos. Good thing I live in a zoo! My family currently owns 5 animals of quite the variety:
a nine month old golden lab pup - Sierra
a 5 year old devilish kitty - Daizee Mae (the name is very deceiving)

a jumbo-sized guinea pig - Wendel
2 of the cutest rats around - Spot and Delilah
So I had some fun snapping some silly photos of my personable pets. Enjoy :)

This picture is hilarious.
If you have met my dog you'll understand.
She's wired every second of the day, this is her with her new toy on Christmas morning.

Here is Wendel in his Christmas present.
It's a tiki hut, but it's also edible! haha
He loves it as you can see!
Just look at his little face

Best Christmas present ever!
Here Daizee is guarding the presents from the dog

Sierra hasn't learned how to sit properly yet, she isn't very lady like since she can't keep her legs together!
Here she is posing with her Christmas wear on, what a cutie :)

Here is my little girlie; Delilah.
She is the most lady like rat you'll ever meet.
She really is a cutie!
She has helped me convince many of my friends that rats make good pets :)

Here is Daizee sitting in the pup's basket of toys, haha.
Not a good idea!
The pup bothers her enough as it is!

I hope your not allergic to cats!
